Service Description

Intermediate level course for students and dancers evolving in their dance. A place where you can develop your repertoire and deepen your body awareness, understand fundamental concepts of dancing and relate to your unique way of moving. Structure and content: • 2 modules composed of 5 classes • Each module includes a review session • Each class will cover one new repertoire movement and include a dance technique principle to leave you confident in your body and in the communication with your dance partner. • Each module will be dedicated to a theme and we’ll alternate Universitario and Roots style repertoire Modules & Themes: Module 1 - Theme: Turns technique (September 17 - October 8) Module 2 - Roots - Theme: footwork and body work (October 25 – December 17) Pre-requisites: • Have a knowledge of these movements: basic steps, simple turn, troca de lado • Have an understanding of Weight transfer, Strong beat, Comfortable embrace or, • Having completed a Passo a Passo Beginners course at ETH (2 modules) Important information: Quartierräume Hardau, Bullingerstrasse 63, 8004 Zürich Tuesday 20:00 – 21:00 Investment: • Students (ID CARD): 15 CHF drop-ins | 120 CHF x 10 classes • Standard: 20 CHF drop-ins | 180 CHF x 10 classes Dates overview: September: 17, 24 October: 1,8, 22, 29 November: 5, 12, 19, 26 December: 3, 10, 17
