13-weeks **Improvers universitário course [L2]** Saturdays 14:00 – 15:00 This course is especially designed for intermediate level students who want to expand their repertoire of steps but also and importantly their awareness of you dancing body. 〰 **This course is for those of you who…** - already knows the foundations of forró - want to learn new Universitário movements - clean and review the technique of movement you already know - bring your dancing to the next level - learn the other role This course is open to everybody, however you should have a basic knowledge of the foundations of forró. 〰 **Dates** January 25 February 1 / 8 / 15 March 1 / 8 / 15 / 22 April 5 /12 May 3 /10 /17 June 7 /14 〰 **Pre-requisites:** - Have a knowledge of these movements (basis steps, simple turn, troca de lado) - Have an understanding of Weight transfer, Strong beat, Axis, Comfortable embrace or, - Having completed a Passo a Passo Beginners course at ETH (2 modules) 〰 **Facts about the course** - Universitario content - Progressive learning experience - Bespoke content for both followers and leaders - 2x self guided practice - 1x revision class - dedicated coaching and feedback - Whatsapp group with recorded content - Guest teachers classes - 15:00 –16:00 pratica available for free after each class During each class I’ll teach a new repertoire movement and we’ll always pay attention to review foundations of our dance (such as: body awareness, rhythm and musicality, leading and following, creativity and roles autonomy) By the end of the course you’ll have built a repertoire of movements that you can bring on the dance floor this winter and for life.
